- Industrialization Project, for establishing a pilot production line was started, in collaboration with the Industry Research Institute Acreo and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm.
Prototype orders of total 70 kSEK was received from Argonne Labs (USA).

- Prototype orders of 720 kSEK for a project for material characterization under microgravity was received from Swedish Space Corporation (SSC).
Two Letters of Intent (LOI) was signed with companies developing and selling intraoral sensors (dental x-ray).
Additional funding of 6 MSEK was received in December from the Swedish Agency for Innovation (Vinnova), ALMI and the Swedish VC Fund Sting Capital.

- Foundation and initial funding
- Based on promising research at the Royal Institute of Technology, Scint-X AB was founded in January 2007 with the objective to commercialize the technology for fabricating structured scintillator devices.
Scint-X AB aquired the patent rights from the inventors; professors Sture Petersson, Jan Linnros and Christer Fröjd.
Initial funding of 4 MSEK was received from the Swedish Agency for Innovation (Vinnova), ALMI and the Swedish VC Fund Sting Capital.
