The Scint-X team recently took a trip over the pond to
California. Apart from sampling tasty hamburgers and driving around
in our rented sedan with a medieval GPS, our trip mainly included
meetings with companies interested in our product. We received
a lot of good feedback. The market seems to be ready for Scint-X
technology! Above all, we noticed that most companies seemed to be
saying the same thing, that the most important task at hand is to
improve image resolution on the products using new scintillator
technology.

The companies we met with all work in various industries. And the
fact that there was this wide range of companies made us even more
confident in our technology since we realized it's applicable for
each and everyone of them.
Before heading back to Sweden we visited ASNT 2011 to learn more
about x-ray for non-destructive testing. It's an extremely wide
field where our technology can make a big difference in a very
specific area. X-ray is a small but an important part of the
field, and our hope is to become the standard technology
within those kinds of applications. The next day we flew back
to Sweden with a huge set of impressions to digest and a mile-long
checklist in our back pocket.
